A very good turnout of 16 Members took part in the third and final outdoor day of 2017. The weather was warm and sunny, and the venue was perfect. Members enjoyed a leisurely day painting and drawing around Salts Mill and Saltaire Village. Some of the most popular scenes included the mill buildings, the canal, and the United Reform Church. A variety of mediums were used including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pencil and pastel. We had the use of the Methodist Church in Saltaire for the day. This provided excellent facilities for members to drop in for a coffee, break for a picnic lunch, or paint indoors.
Many thanks Linda for organising a great day out at a very interesting venue.
