The task was for each member to paint a small section of a larger painting using acrylic paint, then at the end all the pieces were assembled together to make up the overall painting. Martin selected a painting from a famous well known artist and divided it up into 25 equal parts, allowing everyone to choose two sections to complete.
Members eventually guessed the painting was by Marc Chagall 'I and the Village' from 1911.
The finished piece of work looked impressive, each section matched very well and it was admired by everyone who took part.
Thank you to Barbara Goodall for recommending a very successful workshop.
